From our very first meeting, Dave came extremely prepared with a full market analysis of comparable homes in our area and throughout Fredericton, along with a detailed presentation on the current real estate market.

Before meeting Dave, we had another real estate company assess our home and were told that $599,000 would likely be the top selling price. After doing his research and reviewing the market, Dave felt our home should be positioned closer to the $630,000–$650,000 range — and he was right. We achieved a sale price within that range. His knowledge of the market and confidence in the value of our home made a significant difference for us.

When I first met Dave (NB - I was someone who had never bought a home and had zero clue what I was doing) he took the time to go back to basics, and come from a place of education. In fact, I booked a showing for a house that was already in escrow, and he STILL took the meeting in order to educate.... The CEO of the firm.... A person who definitely had better things to do than meet a tire kicker with zero understanding of the process... but still took the time. 🤯

We have been working with Dave and his team for a while now, helping my parents when they were looking for a home (which he successfully accomplished- not sure how because their needs were very complex) as well as helping us when we listed our home and purchased our next home. Dave kept us in the loop at all hours of the day on viewings, open houses, and much more. This was our first time selling a home, so there were a lot of unknowns for us- but Dave sat down with us and went over everything very thoroughly. We really appreciated that Dave and his team worked around our difficult schedule as shift workers for viewings and open houses. Patience, persistence, dependability, and professional- these are just some of the words that I can say about Dave and his team at Right Choice Realty. My partner and I started looking for our first home over 2 years ago and Dave was recommended to us by an acquaintance.

Dave welcomed us and explained the complexities of the housing market in the beginning. We were far from his easiest clients. He learned what was important to us in a house and went to work. He showed us a lot of homes- some for education and others to see what our interests were. We went to many homes but we were picky. Dave remained patient with us when we would see the perfect house that “wasn’t in the right location”, or a house that was in the perfect location “but needed too much work”. When we saw a house that came up, Dave was available and always got us in when we wanted. He told us to trust the process.

1 month ago he got us in to see a house that then became our home. He has held our hands since and helped us put the offer in and get it accepted and has taken the time to answer any questions we had through the buying process as well.

We decided to ask him to dual represent us in the sale of our existing home.  As we appreciate, this can be complex and, frankly, it went as smooth as it possibly could have. Within weeks, we sold and purchased with Dave’s (and team) help, in a softening market.

What stood out to us?  How quickly his team rallied!  Everyone’s responsiveness and professionalism!  The initial pricing discussion.  Regular follow up and post sale / purchase support.

There were a couple of miscommunications between us; when emotions related to transactions this big are high, they’re bigger than reality. In hindsight, timelines were so tight to make this purchase and sale happen that it was to be expected.

Dave and team renewed our confidence in realtors that had been eroded by some prior experiences. We’re now living in our dream home on the water and hope to not have to sell for a long time. That said, if we had to, we wouldn’t hesitate asking Dave and team to represent us. Class acts!
