A member of the Law Society of New Brunswick and a Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor (CM&AA), Jim has over 20 years of experience advising owner-operators and mid-market businesses across Atlantic Canada and the Caribbean. His background spans senior roles at a publicly traded brokerage (Broker & Vice President) and a regional brokerage (Broker & Owner), and he owns and serves as President of Atlantic M&A | Business Brokers — a full-service, fairly priced alternative for business sales and acquisitions.
Jim holds certificates in Canadian Income Tax (University of Toronto) and Negotiation (Harvard), and has received certification in arbitration. He has been the lead on transactions up to $20M across commercial real estate, business brokerage, and mergers & acquisitions — and brings the same level of care and strategic thinking to smaller owner-operator mandates.
